What is the new A2P platform of Globe and its Corporate Entity?
The new A2P platform is called M360 operating under the corporate entity Techgroowers, Inc., a company established under AdSpark Holdings, Inc. a subsidiary of Globe Telecom Inc.
What is M360 and how is it different from the other Platforms?
M360 is the new A2P messaging platform that will deliver digital A2P messaging products which will amplify customer experience and seamless communications. M360 covers all aspects of SMS wholesale business including OTTs like Viber, Facebook Messenger, chatbots and other digital messaging solutions.
What will happen to the AMBER, Mobile360 and Flaire A2P Platforms?
They will be sunsetted by December 31, 2021 and will no longer be available beginning January 1, 2021. Globe will be using the M360 communications platform It will be a better iteration of the previous SMS platforms of Globe.
What will happen to AMBER, Mobile360 and Flaire accounts?
Accounts will be deactivated on January 1, 2022. Customers will be provided with an M360 trial account with 100 FREE credits to enable them to explore and be familiarized with the new platform prior to the cutover schedule. It will be transitioned to a live account on January 1, 2022.
How is the M360 SMS API different from the GLobeLabs, Mobile360 and AdSpark SMS API?
There will be no difference. M360 SMS API is built to support existing SMS API customers for a seamless transition.
What will happen to SMS API accounts?
Customers will be provided with M360 endpoint and new account credentials. Accounts will simply be repointed to the M360 platform. Upon successful testing, they can already change the connection to M360 before the cut-off period of Dec. 31, 2021. (Revenue from 2021 usage will still be booked Globe EG/SG even if they migrate early)
What happens if I don’t migrate to M360?
If your account is not migrated by December 31, 2021, expect that you will not be able to use the existing platform to terminate messages come January 1, 2022. The sooner you migrate, the better.
When is the deadline to migrate to M360?
Customers are advised to migrate their account to M360 on or before December 31, 2021.
How will pricing be affected?
The current rate in contract will be honored until maturity.
Will there be changes in the billing process?
The billing process will not be affected and will remain unchanged.
How will performance be affected by the migration?
The migration will not affect the termination of messages. You can continue to send SMS within seconds using various connectivity solutions available that can help ensure optimal delivery of your messages.
What are the changes to product features?
New and updated pricing plans that would benefit our customer including the release of our new OTT’s – Viber and FBM.
(Existing AMBER products will be supported by M360)
What are the changes to the contract?
Starting January 1, 2022, all termination of A2P SMS to Globe will be managed by M360 and the current and future accounts acquisition and management of direct and aggregator clients will be taken care of by AdSpark and Yondu respectively, being the authorized resellers of Techgroowers, Inc..
An addendum to the contract will be provided to customers whose contracts are yet to be renewed, detailing the transfer to the M360 platform prior to maturity.
