Job Overview

The DevOps Engineer role is responsible for m360's devops infrastructure and processes, ensuring high availability and SDLC delivery performance SLAs are met; with focus on developing and maintaining a robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure release automation.

The position will provide technical infrastructure engineering solutions from a release-deployment and systems-process management perspective; day to day management of the continuous integration and delivery pipelines ensuring that project releases are automated, tested, cost-effective, delivers business and project objectives; provide support on any release-related and cloud infrastructure issue troubleshooting and analysis, ensuring availability and delivery requirements are met; provide senior technical contribution through continuous upskilling and practice of mature, up-to-date and emerging technologies and understanding the value and impact of technology when applied into m360's systems and processes.

Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of the CI/CD release pipelines to deliver m360’s products and services.
Development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure-as-code automation
Development and maintenance of the service deployment architecture and environment management policies.
Application management policy and enforcement through monitoring, auditing, and reviews.
Maintenance and enhancement of applications outsourced to 3rd-parties, if there are any.
Maintain secure application practice and compliance, in accordance with ISO-27001 standard.
Ensure technical capabilities and technologies are up to date.
Ensure hybrid role, with role flexibility not limited to current technical and business domains.

Qualifications

Education:

University degree – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related course

Experience:

Programming and scripting background, with experience in at least shell / bash, git, perl, python
Experience with cloud platforms and related concepts, including AWS, GCP.
Experience with CI/CD Pipelines, SDLC processes, release and deployment strategies.
Experience with Linux, Virtualization/Containers/Docker, and systems administration concepts
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
Experience with cybersecurity, secure development, and secure operations concepts
Experience with networking and cloud integration concepts including TCP/IP, HTTP/REST APIs.
Articulate in communicating customer impact, technical design choices, tradeoffs
Experience in providing 24x7 support and services in a rapidly expanding business environment.
Intellectual capacity to understand most complex problems and explain them in simple terms to business users, and hands-on development and programming.
Stakeholder and risk management, people management, and time management is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Cloud: Amazon AWS, or equivalent such as GCP, Azure
Linux: Ubuntu / Debian, or related distributions
CI/CD: CodePipeline or related such as Github actions, Jenkins, Gitlab
Programming and Scripting: bash, git, perl/python
DevOps: CloudFormation / Ansible / Terraform, Containers/Docker
Networking: TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH

Soft Skills:

Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making.
A passion for new technology and the emerging platform landscape.
Ability to multi task and good time management skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be adept to work in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

Willingness to work flexible hours and RTO days (Wed-Fri).
