Job Overview

The Product Delivery Manager (PDM) is accountable for the end-to-end success of initiatives - from discovery and requirements design, to development, launch, and iteration.

This role combines the strategic ownership of a Product Owner with the execution discipline of a Project Manager, ensuring every initiative is delivered on time, within quality standards, and commercially ready for launch.

PDMs operate within AIG’s delivery framework and serve as the single point of accountability for their assigned products or initiatives. The Product Delivery Manager owns both the what and the how - defining product goals, managing priorities, and driving delivery execution across cross-functional teams.

The PDM is directly accountable for the success of assigned initiatives from discovery through launch, including managing timelines, delivery quality, and commercial readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy and Ownership
    • Define clear goals, success metrics, and outcomes for assigned initiatives aligned with overall product and business strategy.
    • Gather, validate, and prioritize product and customer requirements in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Translate high-level goals into actionable backlogs and ensure consistent alignment with delivery priorities.
    • Apply strategic and customer-centric thinking to drive product enhancements and iterations.
  • Delivery Management and Execution
    • Own the end-to-end delivery plan, ensuring that initiatives are executed on time, within agreed quality standards, and commercially ready for launch.
    • Lead sprint ceremonies including planning, backlog grooming, standups, and reviews to maintain momentum and alignment.
    • Manage dependencies, risks, and unplanned priorities while keeping delivery predictable and transparent.
    • Balance planned roadmap work with unplanned or urgent initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing delivery.
    • Ensure delivery outputs align with defined success metrics and quality benchmarks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with Engineering, UI/UX, and QA to ensure clarity of scope, design intent, and delivery expectations.
    • Coordinate readiness activities with Product, Marketing, Commercial, and Support teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution.
    • Ensure stakeholders have timely visibility into progress, risks, and key decisions to maintain transparency and trust.
    • Build strong working relationships across teams to foster collaboration and shared accountability for results.
  • Quality and Continuous Iteration
    • Oversee validation and testing activities, including UAT, to ensure product quality and readiness.
    • Investigate issues and drive corrective actions to maintain a high standard of product performance and reliability.
    • Define and monitor delivery and product quality KPIs, using data to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Drive a culture of learning and iteration based on feedback and delivery outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project or delivery management for technology products or services.
  • Strong knowledge of agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) with experience in end-to-end execution.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering initiatives on time, to quality, and commercially ready.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to balance business needs, technical feasibility, and delivery capacity.
