Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining QA standards, procedures, and best practices, leading QA teams, and working closely with cross-functional departments to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, plans, and methodologies.
  • Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Coordinate and execute testing activities, including manual and automated testing, to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Quality Monitoring during UAT & Pilots
    • Monitor and analyze defect metrics, report on quality status, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Continuously review and improve QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage testing tools and environments, ensuring proper setup and utilization.
  • CX Touchpoint Mapping & Risk Assessment
  • Review proposed workflows, scripts, and UI for friction and risk
  • Define control points to monitor during go-live and stabilization
  • Post-Deployment Quality Evaluation
  • Issue Escalation & Continuous Improvement
  • QA Documentation & Audit Readiness
  • Document all QA findings and feedback per project

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Professional Experience:

  • Proven experience as a QA Manager or similar role in software development.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the implementation of QA methodologies, handling tools, and usage of automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc.
  • Knowledge of coding/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) for automation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
