Job Overview

The Senior Front-End Developer is responsible for m360’s application development, maintaining user-facing features, ensuring seamless interactions, responsiveness, and high-quality UI across devices. Working closely with backend, design, and other teams, you will help deliver features that are both reliable and user-centric. The position will advocate for clean, maintainable code and strong frontend architecture, while balancing performance, accessibility, and rapid feature delivery to provide the best experience for our users.

The position will provide software engineering solutions from a deployment and system management perspective, ensure operational efficiency and application uptime at 99.99%, and provide senior technical expertise by staying conversant with current and emerging technologies to understand the impact upon m360’s application and how these developments can be meaningfully adopted.

Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of applications, systems, platform components, and other technical artifacts that power m360's products and services.
Development and maintenance of m360 systems and components that are part of the layered architecture, including but not limited to frontend, backend, data, and integration layers.
Ensure contribution and full support to the software development lifecycle contribution, from planning, ideation, system design, technical story refinement, code implementation and reviews, multi-environment testing, deployment and release initiatives.
Application management and production support, including adherence to policy and enforcement through monitoring, troubleshooting, auditing, and reviews.
Maintain secure systems development practice and compliance, in accordance with ISO-27001 standard.
Foster a culture of learning, creativity, and accountability for the best possible work through mentorship and team development, role modeling quality assurance, and performance optimization.
Continuous learning to ensure upskilling, technical capabilities and technologies are up to date.
Ensure hybrid role, with role flexibility not limited to current technical and business domains.

Qualifications

Education:

University degree – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related course

Experience:

5+ years of experience in hands-on Programming, in languages such as: Python, PHP, Javascript, Java
Experience with Frontend Web-based Development, including experience in full-stack Web frameworks and Single-Page apps web frameworks (Javascript, Vue, React)
Proficiency with TypeScript or type-safe programming paradigms.
Experience in leading the delivery of large, complex frontend projects.
A strong product mindset with a focus on delivering high quality, user centered experiences
Experience collaborating effectively within a distributed cross functional team
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, Design patterns, CI/CD.
Awareness of common security issues in client-side development and how to mitigate them.
Experience with Linux, Virtualization/Containers/Docker, and unix system concepts
Articulate in communicating customer impact, technical design choices, tradeoffs
Experience in providing on-call/24x7 support and services in a rapidly expanding business environment.
Intellectual capacity to understand complex problems and explain them in simple terms to business users, and hands-on development and programming.
Stakeholder and risk management, task and priority management, is a plus.
